We celebrate the first day of school each year with ice cream sundaes for dinner! It’s a fun tradition that we all look forward to (what’s not to like about ice cream for dinner?) and I think it’s a great way to kick of the school year as a fun beginning rather than the sad end of summer.

Other people have back-to-school shopping traditions or homemade cookies after school or one last summer sleep over and movie night.
